Day 216: Tiny Little Baby

I'm going to see a teeny tiny baby, Kwintyn said. Our friends just had their beautiful baby boy, yesterday so we went up for a visit. This was Kwintyn's first time visiting a new baby in the hospital, he was excited to go see him. He was curious about him, so when I was holding him, Kwin gave him a quick look over. I think he liked the baby. :) My uterus now hurts!!! LOL He is SO precious, and just absolutely scrumptious, just a beautiful baby. I forgot how tiny newborns were, he was so tiny!! He was a good size baby, 7pds 8oz, but oh so tiny!! I could have held him for hours, and just absorbed all his cuteness. Babies grow so fast, and it made me realize how fast mine grew. She was in the same room I had when I had Kwintyn. So to hold him, and see how big Kwin is now, made me a little sad. We're done having babies, but I just get these twinges when I see a newborn baby. I just wanna love on em for a bit, and am happy to give them back. Ok, so I admit I did want to steal their little guy. lol He was just so darn precious!! I love babies, and have always loved them, and have been so mesmerized by them since I was young. I had wanted to go in to OB nursing, but some of the things you have to do,  I couldn't do......I don't like seeing needles injected, and not sure about doing cervix checks, so I did not go in to the field, although I would have loved to just because you get to see babies being born, and you get to care for them. I just didn't want to do all that other work. LOL I do get to go take some newborn pictures of this little guy when Mom is feeling up to it. She had a C-section, so she needs to rest up. I'm excited for this shoot, but a little nervous. It's a free shoot, as it was a barter. :) I hope they turn out!!! Nervous of the lighting, and posing. :/ I tried to get a few shots at the hospital, but my battery died, and my images were a little blurry. :( Congratulations Ray, & Ashley on the arrival of baby Jaxon!!
