Day 119: Smile though your heart is aching, smile though your heart is breaking...

Just trying to get through the day. It's been hard. I really didn't care if I missed today's entry or not. My mind just can't think of anything else right now. Children are the greatest blessing. Really they are. My son made me smile & laugh a few times today, and I really needed that today. While eating lunch he asked me to take his picture, that's when it dawned on me....Oh yeah, my project. He just made me giggle wanting his picture taken. We went outside today, and told the kids we couldn't play long cause it was going to rain soon. Well it started raining soon after that, and Kwin got so mad!! He wanted to stay outside. Well he marches in, and he's screams "Mom, I'm Mad!!" I said "You're mad?!" This made Frank & I both laugh, but he said "Yeah, I'm so mad, Mom!!" Hahaha I wish I had it on video, tears and all, he was that upset. lol

Thanks for the smiles today, Kwintyn.

Day 118: Heavy Hearts

Today I am writing with a very heavy, and hurt heart. We just got some horrible, horrible news, new that no one ever wants to hear. One of our Best Friends died today. :( Scott was the Best Man in our Wedding, and he was the God Father to, 2, of our children. He was not just a friend, he was family. He was the best Uncle ever!! The kids loved, and adored Scott so much, and we did, too. Scott, and Sam spoiled the kids rotten, and would do anything for them, and us. They were High School Sweethearts, its was always Sam & Scott. And now he's gone. I am just in complete & utter shock. The grief comes in waves, one moment I will be numb, or shocked, or just cry. I can't image what Sammy must be feeling, I know she loved that man with every fiber in her body. I wish I could be there for her right now, and that hurts so much.

The photo I have today is an older one, but special. These pictures were taken at Christmas in 2007. We were SO happy that Sam & Scott spent Christmas morning with us!! I will never, ever forget that Christmas. But that was just 1, special thing that we did together and I will hold that in my heart forever. Scott & I had were said to be "weird" because we shared the same fear.....cotton balls! They just make this noise, and Scott understood what I meant, while Frank & Sam just called us crazy. LOL

Scott, we love you so much!! We will treasure the memories we have had with you. Thanks so much for being such a great friend. You guys were always there for us, and I will be forever grateful to have known you & to call you one of my best friends. Rest in Peace, and until we meet again.

Day 117: Quite A Blustery Day

Today was such a windy day!! Kwin & I spent the day inside cleaning. Hopefully the house will stay clean for a few days. I told Frank I need to make one of those signs that reads, "Mess free for __days."I don't understand how my house can be a mess all the time, if I clean it all the time?! Oh, wait.....I have 5. kids. lol I made a new recipe tonight from Pinterest. I made Ranch Chicken Taco's, and they were very good! Chelsea even ate!! *gasp* Shook her head if I asked if she liked them. They were very easy to make, too, I just didn't make enough. :( I knew I should have cooked more chicken! After we ate we went outside for a bit. Chelsea jumped on the trampoline, that finally, kinda dried out. We didn't get a chance to take it down for the Winter, so it had to thaw, and dry out. I'm surprised Kwin didn't want to jump because he has been climbing up to play on it, when it was wet. Guess he just wanted to play on it when he couldn't, sounds like Kwin. lol He instead was on a worm hunt. lol Got him to come inside with an ice cream bribe. haha

The wind is causing some wild hair!

Day 116: Got Worms?!

After grocery shopping & dinner, we went outside to play. This has been SO WONDERFUL to do! The kids are enjoying being outside again, and it is helping with Kwintyn's sleeping. :) It's still a little chilly here, but I'm not complaining because there isn't much snow left, it's almost all gone! It pretty much is, except for the piles that have been melting fast. My yard looks a mess! Or in my words "Ghetto as hell!" Frank has a lot of crap to get rid of!! Kwintyn found a worm the other day, I laugh that he picks them up, because last year he really didn't like picking them up. I told him he needed to put the worm back, and he didn't want too. I then told him if he didn't put the worm back, he would be sad, and miss his Mommy. He found another worm today, and picked it up, and he said he had to go take him back home to his Mommy. So after a few pictures he ran off, and took that worm home. He gets back, and says he's home safe. Hahaha!!! Frank & I were just talking tonight while watching the kids play outside, and we both agree that we can't believe how big they are getting. And how much Kwin has grown this past year. I have it in my head that he is 2, going to be 3, but NO, He's 3, going on 4!!!! We just can't believe he will be 4 this year!!! All our babies growing up on us. :( Chelsea was out playing with sticks, and drawing in the dirt with them. She said she was making Frozen characters, and writing their name. lol She really likes Frozen, and Kwin even likes it too. He's an Ariel fan, too. lol

                                          WORM!!!!

Day 115: Grumpy Mom

I have had a headache all day, and just in a grumpy mood. I didn't even try to get my camera out today. Kwintyn has been Kwintyn, Keagan is staying again at Brandon's, Kam left to go to his friends today, Chelsea has been alright, pestering here & there, and Kyle he's always a decent kid, just a little lazy at times. ;) I just made another picture in Pic Monkey for today, but as I was down here, Chelsea wanted me to make a picture for her, and so we made a few. I'll post all that we made today. :) Earlier today I had Frank & Kyle, interested in a post I have been following on CafeMom. It's about weird & creepy stuff, and I knew they would like some of the stuff that was posted, so we read through some of those. Creepy stories, and weird stuff like that, interesting stuff though. So I guess even though I was grumpy, hanging with the kids made me feel a little better...and with a little help of a pain reliever. LOL

Day 114: Playing outside

After dinner we went outside today. Kwintyn has been enjoying Spring, and the melting. It's almost gone!! He wants to ride bikes, tractors, and take walks in the woods. Chelsea & Kwin walked the woods & were exploring. It's nice to be able to sit outside now, even if it's a bit chilly out, it's just nice to get out & play. Tonight as I was uploading pictures, Chelsea wanted her photo to be made like Kyle's zombie picture. So we played around with her photo, and her's creeped me out more than Kyle's. I'll post that picture for fun, too. :)

Day 113: TWD Fan

So I needed a picture today. I got a picture of Kwintyn on his bike, he wanted his out since the older boys got theirs out to go on a bike ride. I told Kyle I wanted to take his picture, and he pulls out his knife, and smirks. I oblige & take a few photos, and then I ask for one without the knife. I got inside, and uploaded my pic, and was editing a few photos and Kyle walks in, and says he wants this picture for his FB profile pic. He told me to go to the zombie effects, and this is what we came up with. I thought I'd end up with nothing again for today, but I really enjoyed playing around with that picture with Kyle. We ended up doing a few neat zombie edits on the same picture. Was nice to spend that little time with him. Sometimes it's just the little things like this. :)

Day 112:Springtime in Northern Michigan

It's Springtime in Northern Michigan, where you start the morning off at 30 some odd degrees, and it warms up to the mid 50's. I thought it was still at little chilly out, and I'm sure I over did it with wearing coats......and the hat on Kwin. Kwintyn, & I spent a few hours outside today. I did a lot of raking, and Kwin did a lot of playing. Sarge was enjoying laying in the sun, and being able to be outside for a while. Maggie had surgery today, she got spayed, and micro chipped today. My poor Mag Pie!! She's thinking "Spay & neuter your pets......Screw you, Bob Barker!!" lol I was hoping Spring wouldn't be here when we got her spayed, but we couldn't get her in earlier, so poor Maggie will have to wait to enjoy her first Spring. While we were outside we saw a butterfly!! The snow has melted SO much in the past week!! I truly didn't think it would melt this fast!! I took a photo of a spot last year, and there was still a bit of snow.  The photo was for Earth Day, and I wanted to take another picture of the same spot this year, but it was raining. But this year, there was no snow in that spot, which really surprised me since we got a lot more snow this year, than last. Kwin saw that Sarge was enjoying basking in the sunshine, so he sat down in a chair, and asked for his drink. Made me laugh because I thought of an adult on the beach somewhere sitting just like this with a drink in hand, enjoying their Spring break. LOL I also spotted a seed that had just popped through the earth. I of course had to stop & take a picture of it's beauty. I am such a nature nerd!! I had to change my pants because I was on the ground trying to get a good shot. Not the best shot I was hoping for, but I like what I got. :)

Day 111: Yep, did it again!

Was busy transferring files to my old computer to my new. Took almost a day to get it all done. PHEW! Kids are being butts. No help, being picky, got a call from school....Kyle's missing an assignment. They just gotta be non helpful, or be little buggers when trying to get things done.  I made BLT's for dinner tonight, and 3/5 kids complained. Ok, so one of the 3, just really didn't eat, and 1 refused to eat. I offered that child a different sandwich....nope. Ok, fine you can have bread, and  milk then, and then go to bed. This is what I heard, "Ok, I'll have bread, and milk." For goodness sakes!! I said that joking around when I said that. Kinda like one of those story book crazed Mothers. haha Whatever, bread & milk for you.

My mind has felt like this......

Day 110: Poison

Left overs is like feeding poison to you're kids, or so they act like it. God forbid you ever feed the kids left overs!! "I'll just eat a salad." Since when do you like salads?!? LOL Sheesh! It's not like it was days old left overs, it was from the night before, Easter dinner! I think Kyle was the only one not to really whine about it. The only thing they would touch was the ham. SMH. Picky ass kids! lol

And yes, I am late with this entry, and I did not get a picture either, soooo I made one. :) Better than nothing. ;P

Day 109: Easter Festivities!

Happy Easter!!! We had a good Easter, spent it at home. Grandma & Grandpa came over for Easter dinner, I had never done Easter before. I did Christmas our first year we moved into the house, and that was in 2004, and I have not done a holiday since. My house is too small, we barely have room for all of us! I know we should find a bigger house, but we got a really good deal on our house, and the kids are growing up super fast, so right now we stay, cramped like a bunch of sardines. My Mom made some things for dinner, and I made the rest. Things went well. If you know me, and know how I am when I host parties, and such......I'm a little......rilled up. lol Today was nice, I had no stress with prepping dinner, besides Frank getting in the way, but he was just trying to be help. Chelsea & Kwintyn played nicely with their new Easter toys while we prepped food. Was nice.

Kids waited till I got up till they searched for their baskets. I got up at 9am, so that is early for me!! haha Although I think they had searched as soon as they got up. LOL They found their baskets pretty easy, guess that Easter bunny will have to start hiding them better. Kwin was silly trying to find his. Everyone knew where it was, as you could see it in plain sight. haha He finally found it, and was really excited. He talked & talked about the Easter bunny the night before too. They ended up getting candy, and a "toy". Keagan got a headset for his PS3, Kyle got a wireless speaker for his Kindle, Kameron got headphones for his iPod, & PSVita, Chlesea got a Frozen, Anna doll, and Kwintyn got a Jake & the Neverland Pirates, Captain Hook toy. They also had other small goodies like Play-Doh, Despicable Me mini toy figure packs, A small My Little Pony, Coloring book, with stickers & crayons, Playboy body spray, & Kick Starts. Hopefully you can figure out, who got, what. LOL

Was nice to spend time with Grandma & Grandpa too, we haven't gotten together in a while so it was nice. Usually my Sister joins us, but this year she had company over at her place for Easter. We had a very nice Easter, and I hope everyone else did too.

                                   Dying eggs, and Easter baskets!

Day 108: Easter Egg Hunt

Today the kids went to an Easter egg hunt. I wanted to go to the one the local grocery store puts on, but I did not see, or hear any info. on it. I did however hear of the one we went to today via Facebook, and a flyer that came home with Chelsea. This one you had to pay. $2 for ages 2-5, $3 for ages 6-11, and $5 for ages 12+. We spent $10, and nobody had fun. Kwintyn got one egg, Chelsea did n't get one because we thought they would do different age groups at different times....NOPE! They started as Kwin started his, and Chlesea was standing over in that area. Kameron got some eggs, but some were empty. I just wanted the kids to have fun, and that is why we went, but they didn't have fun. Not sure who did? As we were leaving you heard the talk of disappointment with kids & adults. the people who put this egg hunt on didn't plan for it to be as big as it was, and it was there first time doing so, and they made bank!! But all of the proceeds will go to the Gaylord Football League, so they will be getting a nice chunk of money. So all a good cause, I guess. But as a Mom of 5, I ALWAYS know that you should prep for more than you need, you may never know who, or what will show up. :) Just next year we are doing our own, and I even told Frank we should do an egg hunt for the adults too! Maybe an obstacle course added in too? Sounds fun! Guess I have a whole year to think of some more ideas, and maybe get a few friends to help organize, and play too. :)

Hello, Easter Bunny.....and his scary looking brother......Psycho bunny!

Day 107: Easter photos

I started the day out cleaning, I really should have continued to clean as I have family coming for Easter Sunday. Ok, so it's just Grandma & Grandpa, my Mom & Step-Dad, but still it's company! Kids have been no help with anything today. What's new?!? They just drove me crazy, their favorite thing to do. But anyways, I pulled out some of my new toys. I still have not received everything yet, and I am still waiting on my lighting kit. Plus, I finally remembered to buy clamps for my backdrops. I get everything set up, with some help from Kyle & Frank. It was easy to set up, but did need a little assistance to set up. Then I had to pull out Chelsea's dress, and comb her hair. God forbid I do something with it, so a headband will do. Then Kwin had to get something "dressier" on. It's always like this big hassle to get pictures of the kids. I end of having a headache before I even start. Then I feel bad, and oh boy!! I then always question if i can do photography. How can I do photography if I can't even get a good shoot with my kids?! I have worked with other kids before, and they work nice for me. Maybe they are bribed or threatened like I do to mine?! Haha! I cheated, I shot most in Auto...ugh!! I hate that setting, but it's a no brainer. Chelsea was already not enthused with the photo shoot, and just looked stiff, and anxious. Kwin was just all over the place. My nerves were about shot. I called it quits soon after that, I did get a few o.k. pics, but I know she has taken better photos before. Plus we still had dinner to make, and I had cleaning to resume......Ok, so I am just leaving the rest for tomorrow now as I still have that headache from earlier. Better luck next time?! I always say that, and things never change!! LOL!!!

                                                       Hoppy Easter!!

Day 106: When Mama let me drive....

Exciting day today! Was p.j. day for Chelsea at school, Kameron coming home from camp, shopping for Easter, and groceries. Oh, and I let Keagan drive!!!! The kids  don't have school tomorrow, and so Keagan wanted to spend the night at his friend Brandon's. He said he would need a drive, and then asked to drive himself. :/ He then played his card........"Dad let Kyle drive." Just let me back the truck out of the driveway & you can. We don't live on a busy road, and the way we were taking, wasn't busy either. One of the benefits for living just a bit out of town. We're not in the sticks, or anything, but it's not too busy. Besides, I know I am not the only parent to let my kid drive on this road either. Keagan & Kyle are going to be taking Drivers Training soon, and as a parent, I want them to know the road before they even get on it. Plus it does give major Mom brownie points!! I'm sure I am pretty cool in Keagan's eyes right now. :) He did good, liked to hug the side a bit, but he did very well.  I get home, and Kyle says "Well I see you're still alive." Hahaha

Kameron says he had fun at Camp. He's a bit grouchy, but the Teacher did say the kids are all exhausted. I'm sure I'll hear more about it tomorrow. :) He came home, ate, and took a shower. They were limited to 3 minute showers, and I guess they were pretty cold. I'm sure he really enjoyed his hot, long shower at home. Sounds like he should sleep good. Yay, to sleeping in tomorrow! Although these past few days I was spoiled, and Frank got the kids up & ready for school.

Day 105: Pajama Day!

Tomorrow is pajama day at school for Chelsea. Went and got her some new p.j's at Walmart, and I was not happy with their selection of p.j's. They didn't have much, and they were all mostly for Summer. She did find 2 pair that she liked, and they were from Frozen, but they were too small. :( I would have went to a different store, but I just wanted I pick up my truck from the shop, and get home. These are a cute pair of jammies Chelsea picked out, they look like a cute little outfit, a tunic & leggings.

Pajama day is a big deal, you get to wear pajamas at school!! However it's not that exciting to me, because everyday seems like its p.j. day for me. SAD I know! I really don't wear the typical type of pajamas, I wear lounge clothes. There IS a difference. I am not one to wear pajamas out in public, I find it embarrassing. Although I have worn just my p.j. bottoms when I dropped Kameron off at the bus stop for Pre-School, and that was years ago. The only time I get dressed in to clothes is if I am going anywhere for the day, or if people are coming over. Pathetic, I know. But it does save on laundry, and I am doing laundry for 7 people, so any saving time is AWESOME in that Department. My poor kids will see me getting dressed, or putting make-up on, and will ask me "Are we going somewhere?!" Sad, sad, sad!!! LOL I use to be dressed, and around back in the day. When I had TWINS!!! Funny how things change. I guess I have let myself go over these past few years. :( Guess something had to give, and that was my looks. ;P I need to get myself back in to a new routine.

                                                              New pajamas!!

Day 104: Home cooked meals

While at the dinner table tonight, I told the kids how neat & fun it would be to have a home cooked meal every Sunday. Keagan & Kyle grumbled "What if we're at a friends?', or "What if it's Summer?" We would still have it, I said. "We would have to come home from our friends, that's stupid." More grumbling proceeded. I told them that I can make it a tradition, and we can keep doing this when they are older, and have a family on their own. Still not keen on the idea. I told them I knew of a family that did this, and I thought it was such a neat thing to do. I mean they don't have to make every Sunday dinner, but if they want to come home for dinner, then Sunday would be the day to do so. I say the more, the merrier. I even thought about extending this idea off, and maybe invite some friends  & family over every month and having a dinner with them. I don't see much of them anymore, and I miss them. Plus it would be the highlight of my month to be honest. I don't get out much, nor do I talk to anyone but the dogs, and the kids, and Frank. I mean they all are great, but you gotta know what I mean? And they get to socialize daily, well Frank, and the kids. Work, & school. I know there are outlets for Moms, and toddlers too, not too many things in our area though. This time would be a time for some good food, good thought, good friends, good memories. So if you ever want to stop on by for dinner, Sunday would be the day........Just be sure to call first, cause you know me & my memory. LOL I could have forgot. Just call to remind me. ;P

Day 103: Oh how I love to go....CAMPING!!

Kameron is off to 6th grade camp this week. He's going to have so much fun!!! I can't wait to hear about his camping fun!! He comes home on Thursday, these 2 classes get screwed out of a day due to Good Friday. BOO!!!!!! Oh, well. I'm sure he will still have a blast!!

Kameron going off to 6th grade camp!

Day 102: What a day!!!

Was suppose to be a nice Sunday in Bellaire, spending time with the In-Law's and doing our Easter with them. But nope, it turned in to a headache. We got to Mancelona and we crossed the rail road tracks, and then the truck started to make this rubbing noise, and it was shaking really bad, and you could feel a pull, left to right. We thought we had a flat tire, and were able to pull over. As we were pulling over the lady in the car behind us went past us, and was staring and pointing repeatedly at our truck. Well no shit, Sherlock!!! Way to be Captain Obvious, and yeah, thanks for pulling over, and say WHY you were pointing!!! We were 10 minutes away from my In-Laws, so they came and got us. Frank waited 45 minutes at the church we pulled over in, to wait for the Tow truck, the tie rod went out. The kids & I spent a few hours at Grandma & Grandpa's, and they were kind, and brought us all back home. It took 2 cars to get us home. LOL One of the disadvantages of having a big family. Kwintyn also got to ride forward facing for the first time because we couldn't get the car seat to fit like we wanted, so we just FF him, and their car was a little easier to FF in. He seemed to like it. He fells asleep on the way home. Hopefully he will still want to rear face in my truck when we get it back. I'm just so thankful that it wasn't something more expensive to fix, and I am so blessed that this did not end in an accident. After knowing what a tie rod does, I am so glad things didn't go worse.

Kids waiting for Grandma to pick us up.
Easter Bunny showed up at Grandma's ;)

Day 101: No Image Available

Well I got busy today up my new computer. I had a friend come over, he is a computer Guru. I need any help I can get with computers. BUT I did learn some new things!! Kids had fun playing with Hunter, too. :)

No image available.....this still should count for something!! My first time not ever getting a picture....fail!!!

Day 100: Wow, 100 days already?!?

I knew it was coming up, and I wanted to do something fun for my 100th day. Oh well. This project hasn't been exactly what I had wanted it to be so far. It's quite boring! And the kids aren't as interesting as I thought they were. ;P LOL!! I sometimes just wish I did just a regular ol' 365 project. I'm trying to make this whole project all about the kids. Kam needs to be packed for camp before the weekend is over, Monday he heads off to 6th grade camp!! Kwin had a good appointment with DeAnna today. He actually talked this time. I did talk more than I usually do, and I felt bad for talking because I wanted him to talk to her, but it's all he really needed was me asking him a few questions, about some really cool toys he was playing with, and then he started jabbering away. Maybe this counselling is doing some good? I was starting to question this play therapy, and was going to ask what's the point of coming, but he opened up today. He's been doing so well socially lately, and I am so proud of him! We went outside this evening and got some fresh air, and did some more raking. So glad that we have been having much better weather lately.

Day 99: Springtime is that you?!

It's been feeling a lot like Spring! Rain, sleet, warmer weather, snow melting, piles of dog poop galore! Yep, I'd say it's a good sign that spring is getting here. We still have snow, but you really can't play in it because you will end up looking like a drowned rat. Chelsea was soaking wet by the time she got done playing in it. So glad Kwin was wearing his rain boots and not his snow boots, Chelsea's were still wet from the other day. She is in need of a new pair of rain boots as well. Plus I love rain boots! I want a pair for myself.

Day 98: Is that the floor?!?

Holy cow! There is a floor in Chelsea's room! She can never keep her room clean. I guess that is my parent karma. When I was little my room was a mess all the time, just like Chelsea's. Clothes, toys, all over the place where you can't walk. It's ridiculous! I don't understand how this did not ever bug me as a child?! Or let alone be embarrassed by it, because I had friends over!! No matter how much my parents pleated, or threatened, it was always a mess, and I know now how my parents felt. I organize every little thing in her room when I clean it, and I show her where each thing goes. But somehow days later it's a mess again! I spent 5 hours in there today! And I am still not done! She's gonna be getting rid of some things that she no longer needs, or plays with. She wasn't to happy to hear that, but I coaxed her with a new paint job, new bedding set, and her bunk beds taken down. She's now got her mind on how she wants her room painted, and how the theme will be. Hopefully a new "room" will make her appreciate things a bit more? I can only hope, I don't hold out for it though. lol I'm hoping that she will get a little OCD like me as she gets older. I don't understand why NONE of my kids got the Smoker's cleaning gene?!

                                             I can see the floor!!!

Tuesday, April 8, 2014

Day 97: Help, Please?!

Today I just wanna rip my eyeball out!! My sinuses are killing me!! Kwin & I spent some time outside today, I tried to clean up dog poop to no avail. It's just hard to do with the snow still. I know of 4 people who are on poop patrol when this snow melts, and 1 of them ain't me!! Been yelling all Winter about that poop, but does anyone listen?! Nope. You can wish in one hand, and poop in the other, which hand is gonna fill up faster?! Yep, the poop!! I at least got out of cooking dinner, and cleaning. hehehehe :) My kitchen looked a lot better last week, to bad you didn't see it. ;P

Day 96: Easter Bunny House

That's what Kwintyn said when he found this Easter decoration today. Frank got out of work early & started to clean & organize "his" space in the basement. All his tools, and what not. Guess there were a few Easter decoration back there, I almost forgot about them & have not used them in years! I pulled one out yesterday, and he was all excited. He really like this find, and he wants to play with it. Told him he has to be careful, and that it's glass, and will break. He took one of his little figurines up to it and started talking to the little bunny on it. Hahaha I love that he has such an imagination. Makes me giggle & warm my heart when I watch him play, and he speaks in other characters. lol He's gonna love to look for his Easter basket, and I will have to check if there will be an Easter Egg Hunt this year. :)

Day 95: Spring Break Ends

Last day of Spring break. Chelsea & I made her teacher cookies, this time they did not get burned! Also was a beautiful day & cleaned the truck, while the kids played. They ended up getting soaked!! The snow is SO wet now. You can start seeing dirt & grass, and I seen my first Robin!! WOO-HOO I *think* Spring might be coming! Also made a delicious fruit salad, that was eaten in one day! I can't wait till fruit is cheaper, and there is more of a selection of it.

Day 94: Getting ready!

I'm so forgetful lately.......late these past 3 posts. :/ It's really cause of these kids, ya know?! Today while shopping we needed to pick up some toiletries for Kameron. He will be going to 6th grade camp NEXT week!!! He's excited to go! I feel it's unfair to the 2 classes that will be going next week, they go M-TH. While all the other classes get to go M-F. It's cause of Good Friday. OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, so not fair to a kid. They get a "reduced" price from Camp for not being able to go the whole week. They should have just waited an extra week to plan it. ;P Kids look forward to 6th Grade Camp, and work hard for that money! They did an walk/run a thon to get sponsors for Camp. So the kids worked, just sucks some get the short end of the stick. Oh, well. What can you do? I just hope he has fun. One fun thing they do at camp is the zip line. Exciting, huh?!?

Day 93: Ooops!!

Well I was not on the ball today. Kwintyn had a counselling appt. today, and I didn't realize that until an hour before, and I had just put him down for a nap. UGH!!! So I call frantically & leave a message. Thankfully she called back, and not a problem. His sinuses has been giving him issues too, so he's bee sleepy. I also forgot to get a picture for today, until it was 9pm. So I made this in PicMonkey. :) I admit, it's fun making these kind of things. Kids just pestered me to death today & I had a throbbing headache.

Day 92: Snow Cones!!

While I was cleaning out the Kitchen cabinets, Kwintyn was intrigued by my Snow Cone Maker. I got this for a bridal shower from Frank's cousin Jaci, so about 6 years ago. I used it a few times, and when the kids wanted me to make snow cones, I didn't have the ice. Well today I had BOTH ice molds in the freezer, and they were ready. Thanks to Spring cleaning out the Tupperware cabinet a few weeks ago. :) (Which is a mess again) The flavors bottles didn't have an expiration date so we used them. LOL They didn't taste weird or anything. I'll have to look for some more snow cone flavoring this Summer. But the snow cones were a hit today. Keagan missed out because he was sleeping. It was like 12:30ish, so you snooze, you lose. haha He had my last brownie, so don't feel to bad for him. lol

Day 91: ABC book

Kwintyn's ABC book I made for him through Shutterfly came on Monday. He likes it so far, and loves to look at all the pictures. I'm impressed with his book, it's bigger than the free one I got, and made a so called photography portfolio. Little jealous. lol Chelsea seemed to show an interest in it too, so I will have to think of a book to make for her. :)

                                              Know I know my ABC's!

Day 90: Argh!!!

Chelsea wanted to make chocolate chip cookies over spring break, and take some back to her teacher. Well I thought they sounded good, so I picked up an extra pack. I mean I'm not like Betty freaking Crocker, and I ain't got time for the extra steps involved to make homemade cookies. Cause God knows how hard it is to measure flour, sugar, and all that other crap. I should have just made the damn homemade cookies because these came out wrong. They were all burnt! I guess I could have said that is how I intented them to be, puts hair on your chest. I did not make them wrong, I followed the directions. Something about freaking chocolate chip cookies  & me. I caught the oven on fire in home economics class because of freaking chocolate chip cookies!! Damn those cookies!! I did make brownies too, at Frank's request. Those turned out good. Hopefully the batch for the teacher will turn out better?

Kwintyn has been into Jake & the Never land pirates for a little bit, this is new! He got this Jake toy yesterday for being such a good boy at the Dentist. We've been playing with it alllll day! lol

Argh, Nailed it!!
