Day 270: Oiy!!

Things have been so hectic around here lately, so hectic that I had to push Chelsea's birthday party back a week. But she don't care, she just wants a party. :) I made her invites this year, due to the pinch I was in, otherwise I would have asked a dear friend of mine to make them for me. She has made some for me in the past for a few birthdays, and they turned out really nice. I still have to send them out!! I have an extra week, so I have to get on the ball! Didn't help that we have been broke lately, either. But we always find a way, and things always work out. :) She wanted a dog party theme this year, so I am excited to get started on the decorations. Already have a few fun ideas. :)

Day 269: Birthday Dinner

We had plans to go to the In-Laws today, but we changed plans and invited them over to our house for dinner, so they came over for dinner. I made lasagna & the Father in Law made a tasty salad. My Mother in Law made Frank & I, a birthday treat, brownies & peach cobbler. They brought Chelsea's birthday gift, because they are unsure if they can make it to her party. So she opened her gifts from them today. She got some cute clothes. Had a good family day today. :) And it was a beauty full day!!

Day 268: Bonfire & Smore's

We had a bonfire & smore's tonight. Might be the last time we have a bonfire? I hope not. Enjoyed the evening sitting by the fire enjoying a few beers. Well I did, not the kids. ;P

Day 267: TGIF

Thank God it's Friday!! I had a craving today so we went to McDonalds for dinner. I don't know why I had a craving, it wasn't the greatest...oh well, craving dissolved. lol We played outside today again, and I took some pictures of some leaves that have fallen on the path. I think it looks so pretty. I love Fall!!

Day 266: Beauty Full Days

We have been having some beauty full days lately. It is the perfect Autumn weather for me. :) Love all the color changing going on. Not much of a day today. Played outside, and the kids don't have school tomorrow. Conferences are going on, and I can't make them. :( To much going on.

Day 265: May Your Feet Take You Where Your Heart Wants To Go

A beautiful fall day today! The leaves are starting to change color, and some are starting to fall. Love this time of the year! It's been in the 70's, so this is the perfect fall weather for me. I took a break from all the stuff I had going on inside to take Kwin out to play. Pretty soon we will have snow. :( Kwin was being silly today, and was taking his boot off, and telling me to take a picture of his feet. LOL He's so silly!! And he needs a haircut!! His socks never stay white, as he is a magnetic to dirt, and likes to take his shoes off outside....UGH!!!! haha

Day 264: Boys Will Be Boys

What a day! A busy day at that. We had some company stop out today, my Mom even stopped out today, and she looks alright, but who really knows? But this evening when Keagan was doing his homework, Kyle put on his football shoulder gear, and that started a tackle game. Oh boy! They ended up on the from t lawn at 8:30 talking each other. Kyle looks pretty handsome in a football uniform. LOL Keagan is pretty strong. And Frank realized he is old. Hahaha!!

Day 263: Unexpected Stop

Today we went in to town to get a few groceries, and to pick Keagan up from football practice. We realized that we left the house a little bit to early, and got our shopping done pretty quick, so we took a ride out to Irontone Springs. Frank & I got married there, and Kwintyn has never been out there. There's not much there, as it is a roadside park. But it has a few bridges, and an artisan well. It was nice to make it back out that way, because it of course brings up good memories. :)

Day 262: Bath Time With Daddy

Ever since Kwintyn could sit up in the bath tub, Daddy took over bath time. It's a nice break for me because in that time I can get my picture projects done, and just get that little "me" time. I'm so happy that he helps out like a Daddy should. :)

Day 261: Sweet New Addiction

Dammit Frank!!! He got me hooked on Monster Java's. Frank has been addicted for a while now, and he always would try to get me to take a drink. I tried it a few times, but I didn't really care for them, thought they tasted icky. But I actually drank one, and it wasn't as bad as I had said it was, and I ended up getting addicted from that first one. What's in that stuff?! Crack?! Hahaha He's been giving me a hard time about it, in a teasing way. But I did get him addicted to coffee, he never drank it, then he tried it & loves his coffee with creamer. :) Sooooo.......we both we're craving a Monster, and ran up to the store to get one.

Day 260: Washing Machine Blues

Our washer took a crap. We are just going to go buy a used one until we can afford a new one, it beats going to the laundromat. I just hope the one we found at the Habitat for Humanity Re-store works nice, it's an older one, but I don't care, I just need it to work & tide me over till spring. I hope it's decent. I'm so far behind in laundry....ugh!!!

Day 259: Thursday Night Football!!

Keagan had another game, but unfortunately we were so broke that we didn't even have $10 to get in to the game, so I just watched from the outskirts from the fence. Keagan said that he would be playing today, but a bit after the 3rd quarter I didn't see him play at all. So I went back to the truck to sit for a bit. Well he ended up playing the 4th quarter!!! DOH!!! I missed it! So bummed!! I'll get to the next one, hopefully he'll be playing then.

Day 257: Come One, Come all....

To the World's most amazing circus!! Be thrilled by the ferocious beast, daring feats, strength, courage, and the undermining monkey's. Guaranteed to amaze, and delight!! I always said it's a circus around here, and now we have a tent. :D Frank's Dad brought this up to him a few weeks ago, but he forgot the cover part to it, so he Fed-Ex'd it, and we got it today. We got it set up today. :)

Day 255: Church?

Holy, holy, holy!! We went to church today! And Frank is the one who dragged me there!!! :O He says he is changing a new leaf.....Today was also my birthday, we stopped by Horton's after church for coffee & donuts. I went up to the hospital to see my Mom. And then came home and had friends over for dinner.

Day 254: Brrrrrr!!!!!!

It has been so cold out these past few days. I heard there could be a rain/snow mix coming soon. :( This is B.S!!! LOL I am not ready for the cold!! Keagan, Kam, Kwin, and Chelsea either have the sniffles, or a cough, or have colds. Ridiculous!! Kwin wanted to go outside today, so I bundled him up. I took a blanket, and I was wearing gloves & I was still cold. I have been freezing these past few days. Kwin found this gross bug today, and he also found a dragonfly, and wanted me  to take a picture of it. :) Gonna have to start to winterize soon.....SO SAD!!!!

Day 253: Hallelujah!!

My prayers have been answered!! My Mom has not been well. She was declining medical treatment, and was saying she was ok, but she was not. Yesterday she asked to go to the hospital. She was admitted, and we would have lost her in just s short time, if she had not been seen. Her potassium was very, very low, and she is very anemic, she might have internal bleeding going on, and her liver isn't doing well, she also shows signs of emphysema. I am also going through some personal things in my life, so this has been a very trying time in my life. I just hold on to hope, and faith that things will get better with my mom, and my troubles.

Day 252: Football Game!!!

Keagan had a home game today, so Frank, Kwin, Kyle, & I, went to watch. He didn't play, but it was still pretty cool to see him out there. It made me feel old, because I was a cheerleader & I remember football games fondly, so it's os weird to see you're kid in high school football. Kyle was out on the field, and I didn't even notice him out there!! Hahaha!! He held the flags, and ended up getting free food out of the deal. LOL We ended up winning with just a little over a minute left. I didn't think that we would win. I think Kwin had fun too.

Day 251: No Good, Very Bad Day

Just not a good day. :( Dealing with some personal problems, and my heart is breaking. Not in the mood to write much today. Although Kwintyn did go to his Aunt's today, and he had a lot of fun, and didn't throw a fit when I left, and he even talked, and played with his little cousins. :)

Day 250: Practice, Practice, Practice.

Keagan got his gear yesterday! I was super excited to see him wearing his football gear. :D I snapped a picture from the car, so I wouldn't embarrass him. He said that he will get to play in the game on Thursday, so I'm all giddy about that. I hope it's nice weather that day.

Day 249: Proud Mama

Keagan is doing so well with all the responsibility that comes along with football. Keeping up on his school work, even though he is dog tired. Pretty proud of him. Kyle submitted a job application for Taco Bell today, he did it online. He wants a job so bad, and he want to work at Taco Bell. LOL I think the kids are going to get colds soon. Kwintyn is sniffling, and was complaining about his nose, and Keagan said he thought he was getting a cold. Ah, the joy of going back to school.....Yuck!! Keagan has a home game this Thursday!! So excited!!

Day 248: Busy!!

Busy editing pics today. Frank was nice & kept the kids occupied while I did some work. We ran in to town to get a few things, Keagan needed a girdle for football. I am SO excited about this football stuff. :) Frank has gotten me addicted to these Monster Javas. I tried them over & over again, and just didn't like them. I guess I acquired a taste for them, as I consumed 4 so far....

Day 247: Productive

Had an awesome photo shoot today. Actually today was quote a productive day! Frank & I got up early, dropped Kameron off at his friends soccer game, went grocery shopping, I did a photo shoot, and Frank & the kids finished up the dog kennel. Still have a little bit of work, but it is usable right now. :)

Day 246: Bath Time

Kwintyn said, "I need a Bath." So he got a bath. :) TGIF!!! Kids had a good first week of school. Keagan has been enjoying football, even though he hasn't played yet. He gets his uniform on Monday, so he is excited about that. I can't wait to see him in his gear! Kyle has been pestering us about getting a job. He wants to get a job at Taco Bell, I suggested Burger King, but he doesn't want to work there, he doesn't like Burger King. But Burger King is closer, and would be more ideal, but he says he will pay for gas money. So we are thinking about it. We are already blowing through gas for Keagan's practice, but I really wanted him to go out for football, so I gotta suck it up.

Frank & I never really take pictures of just ourselves. I'm always behind he camera & well we just aren't big selfie takers. So I thought I'd share this one for today. :)

Day 244: Are You Ready For Some Football?!

I sure am!! I am SO excited that Keagan has decided to join football!!!! He was late in to the game, as practice started in August. So he has to take a 3 day training course before he can "bump" as the coach called. it. He has went to the last 2 practices, but had to sit out because he needed this physical form turned in, and he needed a physical. So he had that today, and his papers are now turned in, so now we just wait till he can play. He has his first game tomorrow, but he can't play. I can't wait to go watch him go play football. I loved going to the football games in high school, and I think Kwin will really like going. Keagan hasn't showed much interest in sports in quite sometime, so this makes me feel fan freaking tasking!!! I am pumped!! Woo Hoo!!

Day 243: Back To School

Kids are back to school!! Morning went well, everyone got up nicely, and got around with no bickering. My pictures didn't turn out to well, they never do for back to school. I should start doing a back to school photo shoot the day before. Kids have the same bus driver again this year. They say they are not that fond of her....hehehee. :)

Day 242: Last Day Of Summer

Today is the last day of summer vacation for the kids, tomorrow they start school. Keagan & Kyle will be starting High School this year, 9th grade. Kameron will be starting Middle School, 7th grade. Chelsea will be in her last year of elementary school, 3rd grade, then next year she goes to the "big" school. I NEED to get Kwintyn out in to a group or to find some new friends. He was hesitant to do Pre-School this year, and kinda cried, so I didn't push the issue. We also had a family talk about things, and how things around the house need to change, people's attitudes. This will be the start to a new school year, so this will also kinda be a fresh start for us all. To get back on track, and to make our family happier & less chaotic. It's been a rough Summer, and things got a little hectic, and things got a little dysfunctional, and some people weren't happy. So we are hoping that things will change with this fresh start to the "new" year. I know it will take baby steps, but at least we are all on the same page now, and that is a step in the right direction. :)
