Day 213: The Ant Go Marching One By One....

Wanna see the ants?! Kwintyn said, so we had to go watch the ants. I forget how just the littlest things can just amaze a person. Watching ants. They are quite interesting to watch. We talked about the ants, and said that some are bringing food back to their colony, to share it. And how ants are strong, and hard workers. I love being able to see a toddler's point of view. I guess I can't really say toddler anymore, pre-schooler would be the right phrase. I don't like hearing that. I sure will miss the toddler years, even if they have been hectic. Just to hear the stories, and the imagination, and the simple wonder of the world just amazes them. We as adults are always in such a rush, or are too busy to stop, and see the wonders of nature, and what the world does have to offer. I'm guilty of that from time to time, too. But really just take 10 minutes out of your day, and go explore something, and take a really good look at nature, or the world. It made me perk up a bit today doing so. Frank & I have been down in the dumps this Summer. But days like this really make the clouds go away. :)
