Day 78: Stuffed, and Mounted.

Hehehe...:D Kyle is pretty much done with his squirrel. It just has a few more touches that need to be done. Right now it looks like it's getting a round of acupuncture done. I didn't think he would be bringing it home today, so imagine my reaction when he started walking up to my truck with this squirrel. If you haven't read the previous post about my fear of fur, then go read it. :P I just don't like this kind of stuff, and Kyle finds it funny. He has been messing with me, since he started this Taxidermy class. I don't know why this stuff bugs me, I grew up around mounted animals my whole life. I could never own a fur coat, I would just cringe. What a weird phobia, huh?! I guess I suffer from Doraphobia, but just a mild case. LOL Kyle's Taxidermy teacher is retiring this year, he has been teaching taxidermy for 31 years, or so. He also is a science teacher. Today this teacher told Kyle that he was his last student in taxidermy, throughout 31 years! Kyle was the last one to finish his project today. He has to take it back to school for pictures, and such. I told him he should have just kept it at school until then. hahaha I'm proud of him, and he really enjoyed this class.
